Limmud is a multi denominational educational event which has been succesfully running in the UK for several years. Every year it attracts a huger and more varied array of participants who run and take part in sessions covering every conceivable aspect of Jewish life.
Last year, a bunch of Jerusalem based Anglos (many of whom I can count as friends) organised an educational conference along similar lines to Limmud UK here in the Holy City. It was a great success, attracting a disparate crowd and some quality speakers. This year the program is being run again on January 6th at Kibbutz Ramat Rachel, Jerusalem. Speakers include MK Michael Melchior. Knowing the people involved it will be well worth attending if you need a dose of Judaism whether halachic, spiritual or cultural.
